Oakville, ON - In the first extra-inning game of the tournament, the Community Park Reds from Edmonton defeated the Orleans Red Sox 8-7. 

Orleans fought back from a 7-4 deficit in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game taking advantage of the Community Park pitchers who struggled to find the strikezone walking four batters.  A two run single to left by Jason Foucault scored to of the wlaked batters to force an extra-inning.

Community Park scored in the top of the eighth after Orleans rightfielder Spencer Rodd misplayed a high flyball by leadoff hitter Kyle Harris. Harris eventually came aroound to score on a double to left field by Byron Turba.  Community Park and then shutdown the Orleans offence in the bottom of the eighth to win the game. 

Winning pitcher was Cody Jennings. The losing pitcher was Jason Foucault.

Community Park is now 2-1 in round robin play while Orleans falls to 0-3. In the next round, Community Park takes on Glace Bay and Orleans plays Orleans plays Whalley.
