| Glace Bay gets first win beating Oakville |

The game was a close see-saw affair until the sixth inning when Glace Bay took advantage of three Oakville errors to score four runs that put the contest out of reach. The game featured a solo homerun from Oakville's Ryan tobias and a solo homerun to deep centre field by Glace Bay's Jeff Conn, his second of the tournament. The winning pitcher was R.J. Barrett while Oakville's Will Bandis took the loss. Glace Bay is now 1-2 in the round robin portion of the tournament. Oakville is also 1-2. Next up for Glace Bay is a game with Edmonton's Community Park Reds. Oakville takes on NDG Lynx of Montreal. |



Oakville, ON - The Glace Bay Antoians earned their first win of the 2008 Canadian Senior Little League Championship beating the host Oakville Whitecaps 10-6.
