Oakville, ON - The Whalley Chiefs finsished 5-0 in the round robin portion of the 2008 Canadian Senior Little League Championship after beating the host Oakville Whitecaps 20-0.

Once again, the Whalley bats were dominate as they pounded out seventeen hits.  The Chiefs were lead at the plate by Justin Atkinson who went 4-for-4. Chris Fischer, Brandon Bufton and Nic Buse each had 4 RBI.

Whalley starting pitcher Brandon Bufton pitched a 5-inning complete game surrendering just 2 hits.  Oakville starter Sonu Lall took the loss.

Whalley is gauranteed first place going into the playoffs.  Results of games later today, will determine Oakville's playoff fate as the finish round robin paly at 2-3.
